With havin so much written content do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright violation? My blog has a lot of unique content I’ve either authored myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my authorization. Do you know any ways to help prevent content from being ripped off? I’d genuinely appreciate it.
There’s no perfect way to protect content from appearing on the Internet without your authorization. First, you have to decide whether trying to take it down will cost you more than the content is worth. In most cases, it’s not. Some people will steal content, even if it does not make them any money. Others will pay for content, even when they can get it for free. It’s all part of doing business on line these days. If your stolen content is on a website that is hosted by another company, you may be able to issue the host service a take-down notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
